Includes the tutoring, kayak, the paddle, the life vests, the kayak sleeve and the sauna seat cover.
You will receive the map of the kayaking route for a loan
Bring along: swimsuit and towel (towel's for rent). Change clothes if you happen to get wet, sunglasses, a cap or similar, wear-resistant warm clothing (windproof jacket recommended)
When booking, let us know your canoeing skills so we can plan the orientation groups and so everyone will have time to paddle faster.

Important before the trip
- At the dock 15 before
- We will cruise to the anchorage
- We will give you the kayak with instructions
- The more advanced kayaker's will start first
- Melonta noin 2 tuntia
- After the kayaking, you may enjoy the sauna and swim off the boat

At the cruise
The canoeing area is determined by the prevailing sea conditions. The ship is anchored in a place sheltered from wind and waves. Thus, the routes and destinations of canoeing trips may change depending on wind and weather conditions. There are usually a couple of different routes to choose from. The paddle is paddled independently, but we aim to have at least 2 people paddling on the same route.
in some cases we may have to cancel the trip due to weather conditions, for example due to too strong winds (read the safety section).
The price of canoeing trips includes the necessary canoeing and safety equipment.
Safety
Melontaretkien alaikäraja on 11 vuotta. Osallistujan on oltava uimataitoinen (pystyttävä uimaan 25 metriä). Välineitten kunnosta ja turvallisuudesta vastaa Sea Biscuit.
Retkille ei oteta alkoholin- tai huumeen vaikutuksen alaisena olevia henkilöitä. Laivan päälliköllä on oikeus puhalluttaa tai mulla tavalla varmistaa ettei asiakas ole päihtynyt. Alukselle saapuneen päihtyneen henkilön retken maksua ei palauteta.
Kova tuuli voi olla este retkille. Tuuliraja retkille on kun Harmajan majakalla keskituuli on yli 12m/s. Päälikkö voi aloittaa retken poikkeuksellisesti jos ennusteet lupaavat kelin paranevan, tai jos sääolosuhteet muutoin ovat turvalliset tuulesta huolimatta. Retken mahdollinen peruminen pyritään kertomaan asiakkaalle retkeä edeltävänä iltana.
